Montessori Children’s House offers an integrated, comprehensive preschool experience for children aged three to six years. The program features a variety of classes designed to fit the specific needs of children and families.

Half Day Program 3-6 years

MCH offers a morning half-day class. The AM Class runs from 8:45-11:30 a.m. that meets five days a week.  The early childhood allows the child to discover and understand the order of his or her world, culture and universe, while developing skills to equip him or her for full participation in them. All of the curriculum materials are available for exploration and mastery.

Extended Day Program

The Extended Day program runs from 8:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. This program is an extension of the class time for morning and afternoon child so he or she has the opportunity to participate in special presentations and studies involving nature, geography, history, language, art, etc. The children eat lunch together, providing a time when special emphasis is given to social grace and courtesy. This program is designed for the child who is ready for additional time in the class and is especially useful for older children.

All Day Program The All Day Montessori program is open from 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. and runs five days a week. With this program we have created a Montessori atmosphere all day with Montessori trained teachers. Our curriculum not only includes the Montessori materials and instruction, which are available throughout the day, but also additional time for outdoor exploration and movement, care of animals and gardens, nature study, art, music and so much more.
