Montessori Parent 101 Course – Part 2, 9/20/17
Each year MCH offers a “Montessori 101” Course for parents, grandparents and caregivers with discussions about Montessori philosophy, child development, teaching techniques and ways to include Montessori in the home. The parents who have completed the course, given by the MCH faculty, have all been pleased to gain a deeper understanding of the Montessori philosophy, approach and materials.
Montessori Children’s House encourages all parents to attend this course to assist in their understanding and support of their child(ren)’s development during these essential years of childhood. This year’s course will be held on Tuesday, September 19th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, September 20th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The cost is $15.00 per couple or individual and the fee includes a copy of the book, The Child: What Every Caring Parent Needs to Know, by Desmond F. Perry.
Childcare for children between 18 months – 10 years old will be offered on Tuesday and Wednesday (at a cost of $10 per child per night).
