2 – 3 Year Old Students for Fall 2015-2016

Your child can enroll in our Half Day Morning Program for 2-3 year old students for 5, 4 or 3 days to get a great start on his or her Montessori Education. This class offers two and three-year-olds a doorway to learning in a home-like setting that nurture the spirit while supporting growth and independence. Teachers are specialists in the needs related to this age group, which include such issues as the establishment of autonomy, separation and the first transition to school. The educational program includes every day living skills, activities for sensorimotor and language development, and experiences in arts and sciences.

Many of our students are potty trained; however the teachers work with students that are not. The children are encouraged to take off their own coats, shoes, hang them up and establish daily living skills.

Students are introduced to Spanish through song and activities.

The 2-3 year old program runs from 8:45-11:15 Monday through Friday. Although we strongly encourage a five day program, we also offer three and four day options.

We have 3.5 acres of outdoor area and schedule our day to have activities and even classes outside using our beautiful space for playing, investigations and nature discoveries.  Each day children work with the Montessori materials, have group time, snack and other activities.
