We welcome and encourage parents to participate in the many opportunities we offer to get involved in our school community. Your involvement in the school sends an important message to your children that you value and care about their education. Parental involvement is particularly important in the case of the young child, as parents are the prime influence and experts on their children’s needs. Here at Montessori Children’s House of North Barrington we see your child’s education as a team effort between home and school.

In an effort to promote parental involvement, Montessori Children’s House of North Barrington has several events planned throughout the school year. Parents are encouraged to participate in Parent-Teacher Conferences, observation of the class, parent education sessions, cultural events, field trips, garden days, share special projects and skills, and the end-of-year family picnic.
